Joan's On Third

Who is Joan? Why is she stuck on Third?

Whoever and whatever she's doing, her market is awesome! I assumed Joan's on Third was a restaurant since tables were lined outside on the sidewalk  but when you walk in you realize it's a market, bakery, cafe, restaurant, catering service, deli all in one. With kosher desserts and numerous homemade entree platters it's a one stop shop for the undomesticated hostess. You can grab a custom cheese and meat platter from the deli to serve your guests while you pretend to bake the Mac and Cheese platter in the oven (a must have from Joan's)! I just saved your social life, you're welcome.

You can also make a pit stop for baked goods and a latte to relax with some friends or meet a client since it's centrally located in L.A. The menu boasts hearty entree options like Chicken Milanese, Grandma's Sandwich, Joan's Turkey Meatloaf so if you're starving you will be satisfied. If you're on a lunch date trying to figure out if you want to see the person again you can get a Caprese Salad but your gut is not fooling anyone. I suggest you go at breakfast and get the New York Breakfast Sandwich or the Bonne Femme Omelette, they were delicious! I ate the crumbs my parents dropped. While you have made the trek out to Joan's, get a Bouchon since my parents almost named me Bouchon.

I should probably add there's no parking so you can't say I didn't warn you. I love this place. If I could live there, I would.

Stay fancy my friends,

Olive
