The Sycamore Kitchen

Since I’m not allowed to eat inside, although I behave better than most humans. I love eating at places that have awesome patios and courtyards. The Sycamore Kitchen in downtown L.A. was a diamond in the rough. Walking around L.A. it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle. Shockingly you step onto the patio of The Sycamore Kitchen in between two towering exposed brick buildings lined with vines and shrubbery and you're in a whole new world (Aladdin not included). If I had a restaurant it would look similar to The Sycamore Kitchen. The patio has a large selection of outdoor tables and umbrellas so eating outside under the sun was not a problem.

With café style ordering, I suspected the usual selections but was surprised to find chef style entrees like Ricotta Pancakes and multiple egg entrees to dream of from quiches to open faced sandwiches, take your pick! The baristas were top notch as well, making my dad his favorite drink an Almond Milk Cortado without questioning what a Cortado was.

I’m not sure what a Sycamore is but I like The Sycamore Kitchen.

Stay fancy my friends,

Olive
